PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Preve-Cide 60 Plus is 60% polymer algaecide and 40% inactive ingredient. Polymer pool algaecides consist of long chains of atoms. They are versatile because unlike other algaecides they are both non-staining and non-foaming. Polymer algaecides are positively charged and work by attaching themselves to the negatively charged cell walls of a wide variety of bacteria and algae and will in effect suffocate the cell. Polymeric algaecides last longer than quat algaecides and can be used to both kill and prevent algae and are highly effective across a wide range of pH. Polymer algaecides have the added benefit that they have coagulating properties which will help to improve water clarity.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE
VISIBLE ALGAE GROWTH: Add an initial dose of 16 oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.
CLEAN WATER TREATMENT: Add an initial dose of 9 oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.
MAINTENANCE: Add 4 oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water weekly. Pools containing
heavy algae growth must be cleaned prior to using this product. 24 hours after treating visible algae
growth, algae debris must be removed by standard cleaning procedures. Dilute this product with at
least nine parts water before applying. Pour required amount of this product into plastic watering can
and fill with water. Maintaining constant pool circulation, sprinkle solution around the edge of the pool.
