PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Preve-Cide Max is a powerful blend of algaecides and chelating agents designed to combat the toughest blue-green, black, and mustard algae varieties. Before adding Preve-Cide Max, it is encouraged to use an appropriate metal control to prevent preexisting metals in the water from discoloring the water or precipitating out and staining surfaces.

• Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate
APPLICATION & DOSAGE
EVERY THREE MONTHS: 16 fl. oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water will prevent algae growth in all pool types.
SEVERE ALGAE TREATMENT: 32 fl. oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
GENERAL DIRECTIONS: 1. Maintain pool water in the pH range 7.2 to 7.8. Total alkalinity at 80ppm to 120ppm. Adjust pH to 7.2 for severe algae.
2. Ensure that filtration system is working properly.
3. Brush pool regularly.
4. Calculate the volume of product required for your pool.
5. Dilute in a bucket of pool water and add the product directly to pool’s deep end, preferably in front of the water return.
