Every safety cover includes the following standard safety cover equipment -
- Stainless Steel Springs with covers - The Stainless-Steel Spring features a drop down design to help the cover lay flat. Merlin’s springs have an unsurpassed 172 pounds/inch compression rate! Spring anchor point is “coined” to prevent the spring from deforming. The spring cover is integrated into the webbing of the cover to prevent it from covering the anchoring point and easing installation!

SmartMesh Covers
- SmartMesh™ covers are constructed with a patented mesh which provides 100% shade without the weight associated with solid covers. SmartMesh is available only from Merlin Industries, Inc.
- SmartMesh™ covers are available in Green, Blue, Tan, and Gray.
- SmartMesh™ is 40% lighter than solid material.
- SmartMesh™ Covers filter down to an average particle size of 40 microns.
- Proper winterizing chemicals should still be added for maximum algae protection.
- SmartMesh™ cover has a 15-Year Limited Prorated Warranty.
Dura-Mesh II Covers
- Dura-Mesh II Safety Covers consist of specially formulated polypropylene and nylon 2-ply webbing interconnected with a chemically and heat treated 6.4 oz. polypropylene mesh. The webbing is connected to a stainless-steel high tension spring with stainless steel loop buckle.
- Dura-Mesh II covers are available in Green, Black, Blue, Tan, and Gray.
- Dura-Mesh II is 33% thicker and on average 68% stronger than standard mesh covers.
- Dura-Mesh II cover has a 15-Year Limited Prorated Warranty.
